Summerset house, where most of the commotion occurs, is a gorgeous building that host the all the UK’s designer’s creations. In reporting as creative consultant for SIXinch magazine (due to be released on the 25th September) gained me entry to all the exhibition spaces. This is a space full of up and coming designers and brands to exhibit their SS11 stock. All of whom could be considered to be overly helpful and are all very keen to talk.
Esthetica
This is a section within the exhibition space at Summerset House. In here you can find various different designers who work in a economical fashion. I'm always curious to see if they have achieved desirable and wearable objects, more than the typically expected hemp and cotton clothing that most people think of when we say 'eco-friendly' clothing because of this I think most people brush past Esthetica. Having always been a sustainable conscious designer I'm keen to investigate ways in which designers achieve this.
